For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13About a month ago, our grass was so yellow and dry that it was painful to walk on with barefeet. And then August turned out to be a very wet month capped off with heavy winds and rain from Hurricane Irene. Today is peaceful and gorgeous. Just about a picture-perfect day.
Life can be a lot like the weather. One day, brilliant sunshine, smooth sailing. The next, lashing winds and drenching downpours. And then blue skies and puffy clouds on the following day. We started school a month ago, and while we've had some hairy moments juggling school and the baby, it has gone very well...all praise to the Lord! We helped celebrate the glorious wedding of some dear friends this month, took a few summer day trips, and just lived this wonderful, simple, happy thing we call our life. Most days, everything goes very well. But then there are those days when the dark clouds roll in and threaten to rain all over our parade.

So beautifully written my dear friend. Great reminder to embrace HIS will for us each day. He is LIFE!
The pictures of Miss Gracie are adorable, too!
And, I'm excited for your family to travel to your dad's homeland someday. Won't that be special?! I have been to the Czech Republic, twice on mission trips, and am looking forward to going as a family! I believe that Prague, is only a two hour drive from us, in Bavaria, Germany. =) Thank you so very, very much for your prayers for our family, Abbi! I appreciate you! *Hugs*
