It was blazing hot earlier this week. The kids occupied themselves with your typical, calm, serene summer activites. Like....
"Barn dancing" in the family room. Gracie provided the music on the harmonica.
While the other two provided the "entertainment."When that got boring, they headed outside to beat the heat with the sprinkler. And like typical American children, they ran through the sprinkler spray, giggling and smiling.
Scratch that. They put the sprinker upside-down on the treehouse floor and made themselves a "pool" in the sandbox.
Looks refreshing doesn't it? :)
At least the popsicles afterwards were a "typical" summertime treat.
I love these crazy kids! We are SO enjoying our summer!

Your pictures are so great! This weeky is gonna be a doozy - I know that Emmeline is coming on the 100-something degree day on Friday, LOL! God bless air conditioning. :o) So glad that you guys are enjoying your summer - seems like it's just flying by!
