in no particular order

How can it be the last week of July already?

This little lady turned 3 months old...

These children are enjoying VBS!

We're having fun playing dress-up with the baby.

There has been some cleaning...

...biking,

...running,

...and general silliness in these parts.

We participated in our Homeschool Rally a month ago.

This dude had fun at his first Christian soccer camp.

(I think his little cleats and shin guards are so cute!)

These girls are learning a lot at their summer art class.

The Man-Child turned 8 this week!

(He loved the Lego cake despite the fact that his mother remembered the baking powder, but forgot to put the baking soda in the cake recipe, there was so much food coloring in the icing that it tasted like medicine, and those marshmallows on top were a beast to ice. We are teaching his Sunday School class this month, and his whole class liked it too. Yeah, brick-cake, red icing, and marshmallows. It's a good thing they're young!)

His little mystery-loving heart loved the clues he had to decode to search for his presents.

It's been one jolly after another in these parts! And right now we are enjoying a drenching downpour after a few weeks of sweltering heat and no rain. Our grass is crunchy. But we're soaking up as much summer as we can! How about you?

Oh my goodness. Emma is so adorable. It makes my heart race for my own newest little one!!! And your man child looks just like your husband in some of those photos! Lily is so beautiful and looks like such a graceful elegant young lady and Gracie, oh I could eat her up. She looks like so much fun!!! Love seeing what you have been up to! And the heat, oh my! It's terrible!

Hey! Did you just post this? :o) (The downpour got me...I'm SOOO thankful for it! Ed had to take over my hydrangea watering because I just couldn't do it anymore and it was nice to see him get a day off from the garden that he's grown so proud of, LOL) These are great pics, Abbi! Is Gracie starting homeschool Kindergarten this year? I'm starting in a few weeks with Grace officially and we can't wait! Libby, too...though she insists that she's in high school. Sigh.

(P.S. Happy birthday, Joey!)

Abbi, we were thrilled to have the rain yesterday, too! So refreshing! These summer pictures are wonderful and little Miss Emma is getting so big. =) Praying you all have a blessed and fantastic last week of July, my friend!! *Hugs*

Love, love, love seeing these pictures!

Obviously, Emma looks like the rest of the kiddos but it struck me just now that she looks more like Joey. Is that too far out of the ballpark or do you think so, too?!! :)

Summer is going well but not fast enough for this full-time nanny. :)
